CT State Community College Catalog 2023-2024

  • New students enrolling for the first time in Fall 2023 will begin as students of Connecticut State Community College under this catalog. 
  • Continuing students from one of the 12 community colleges will be transitioned into a CT State program in this catalog as of the start of the Fall 2023 term.
  • The policies, courses and programs described are applicable as of the Fall 2023 term and may be updated as circumstances require.

Community College students can complete associate degree programs that transfer without hassle to all Connecticut State Universities and Charter Oak State College offering their major. Upon transfer, students are guaranteed full junior status and can complete a bachelor’s degree in their major without losing any credits or be required to take any extra credits. Program Objectives:

  • Complete an Associate of Arts degree in Communication Studies.
  • Transfer seamlessly into a Bachelor of Arts/Science degree program in Communication/ Strategic Communication/ Media Studies/ Media Arts with junior-level status in the receiving CSCU institution as part of the CSCU Transfer Tickets program.
