22 | TYPOGRAPHIC STANDARDSText: Separating ParagraphsParagraphs may be separated by either an indent or extra space between the paragraphs, but not both.If indenting, never indent the first paragraph. For space between paragraphs without indentations, use a half to a full extra line space. Usually 3/4 is comfortable.The leading between a heading and a paragraph below it should either be the same or larger than the leading between the paragraphs.
