Director, Dual Enrollment

Jordan Long serves as Director of Dual Enrollment at CT State, where he leads system-wide initiatives to expand access to college-level coursework for high school students across Connecticut. In this role, he oversees program development, fosters cross-campus collaboration, engages with key stakeholders, and ensures equity and consistency in dual enrollment experiences statewide.

With more than a decade of experience in higher education and student development, Long has held impactful roles in academic advising and athletics administration, bringing a unique blend of organizational leadership, student-centered programming and cross-functional coordination. His work has consistently focused on creating opportunities for students to succeed by aligning institutional goals with student needs.

Throughout his career at CT State, Long has been a dedicated advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion. He has played a vital role in developing inclusive programming, advising underrepresented student populations and contributing to system-wide initiatives that center student access and success. These efforts reflect his commitment to ensuring that all students, regardless of background, are able to engage fully in their educational journeys.

Long earned a master’s degree in organizational psychology from the University of Hartford and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Management from the University of New Hampshire. His professional path reflects his belief that education serves as a powerful tool for expanding opportunity and building stronger communities.
