March 24, 2025 | Hello Campus Community, This weekly communication to the Asnuntuck community shares the latest information on facilities improvements. A list of scheduled and completed work is detailed below. Please let me know if you have any questions. Asnuntuck Website (asnuntuck.edu): Reports will be uploaded to the Asnuntuck website (Facilities Update – CT State Asnuntuck) as they become available. Reporting Problems: To be responsive and provide immediate attention to concerns as they arise, immediately follow these steps if you experience any facility concerns, odors, or disruptions: Dial “0” for Security from any campus phone. Contact your dean, the CEO, or a member of the campus leadership. Notify maintenance by emailing: AS-Maint-Request@acc.commnet.edu. This email address reaches eight different maintenance department members, including the maintenance supervisor. It is a ticketing system that provides documentation for all maintenance services. Scheduled Work (Monday, 3/24/2025-Friday, 3/28/2025): Monday, 3/24/2025-Friday, 3/28/2025: All State Construction will continue working on CTC-659C HVAC Phase 4, which is to replace several Fan Coil Units in Building 1 under Project Manager, Steve Longo. This week, they need to revise the ceiling grid for proper maintenance access and will be completing punch list items in Room 125 and Strom Conference Room. Actual schedules for each space are coordinated with the occupants. Donovan will continue working on the AMTC Projects-CTC-653 MEP & Exterior Site Upgrades – specifically, building entrance access and loading dock. Monday, 3/24/2025: Kinsley Power Systems will repair the generator for building 2. Wednesday, 3/28/2025: Steve Longo from the Systems Facilities Office will have project meetings on campus. Pending Work: All State Construction will continue working on campus on CTC-659C HVAC Phase 4 for the next few weeks to replace several Fan Coil Units in Building 1 under Project Manager Steve Longo in the following rooms: Strom Conf Room-118 and Behavioral Health Center- Room 125. Actual schedules for each space will be coordinated with the occupants. Modern Mechanical will be working on the following projects in the future: Rooms 126, 128, 130, 144, 155d need heating work on fan coil units. AMTC Boiler 2 goes into alarm at times Shaffer Beacon will test the new coil for the York chiller in Building 1 in the Spring 2025. Awaiting replacement chilled water coil for Room 146 (Chem lab). The heat works, but the replacement coil is needed for cooling. Out-of-order EV Charging Station in Building 2: The repair is being scheduled when funding is identified. Restroom 1.8 is clogged again. The toilet needs to be jetted by Roto Rooter as soon as funding is identified. Completed Work (Monday, 3/17/2025-Friday, 3/21/2025): Monday, 3/17/2025-Friday, 3/21/2025: All State Construction continued working on CTC-659C HVAC Phase 4, which is to replace several Fan Coil Units in Building 1 under Project Manager, Steve Longo. Fan Coil Units were replaced in the following room: Room 125 and 118 Strom Conference Room.
