Student Clubs

The Press Start Club educates students on all things video gaming in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The club is for students who want have an interest in video games and who want to learn the destiny of games and make new friends. We also teach others about video games and how each game can sometimes be multiplayer or single player.

The purpose of PRIDE is to support gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and straight students on campus, organize and promote social activities, and educate members and others on campus about LGBTQIA+ issues. All personal issues discussed during meetings, including members’ names and sexual orientation, shall be strictly confidential. No member shall discuss personal information regarding any member, advisor, or associate with non-members or in the presence of non-members.

The Tunxis Pride Club strives to be a safe place for any and all who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. We hope to be able to spread positive energy and awareness to things that are affecting the community. We meet weekly, go over our agenda and have downtime where we usually play games and build the community. You can find our information around campus, or on our Instagram @tunxis.pride.club.

The Radiology Tech Club coordinates and conducts activities related to fundraising and hosts social events to support the club's educational pursuits in the field of Radiology.

The respiratory care club helps promote the education and prevention of chronic lung disease through community activities and campus activities. Our goals are to help promote education regarding the respiratory care field and to promote attendance to professional education conferences in respiratory care. Any student interested in the respiratory care field or is undecided can join the club, as well as all students enrolled in the respiratory care program.
