Due to a current hold on my financial aid, I am required to pay for all expenses out of pocket (amongst other financial obligations). With the semester beginning and no clear timeline for when the issue will be resolved, purchasing required textbooks has become a significant financial barrier. Receiving this assistance would allow me to focus on my coursework while actively working to resolve my financial aid hold without risking my academic progress.

I received financial aid, which covered my tuition. I have $62 leftover to help pay for my books, this is enough to cover one of the cheaper books. I’m 18 and looking for a part time job so I can work while taking classes. Since I’m not working yet money is tight and I was just looking for help covering my textbooks.

I am unable to completely afford the textbooks that are required for this upcoming semester. I am currently paying a student loan bill and the price of the textbooks combined is fairly out of range for me at this time, and textbook assistance would be very helpful for me to successfully complete my classes this Spring.

I am currently unemployed and living with my sister because my mom has passed. I am trying to wait for the fasfa office to give me some help because I filled out the special circumstances paper. In the meantime I have 0 money for books because last time fasfa only covered my tuition as well.

I am currently unemployed due to personal issues, therefore any money I currently have must be used for basic expenses (food, hygiene products, etc.) My father cannot help pay for these textbooks either as he is currently overwhelmed with expenses (my mother is unemployed). I am currently dependent (living at home).

Adding this additional form from the site. I am not currently approved for FAFSA until I provide my SAP documentation from family and do not currently have the money to purchase my books. I am adding this next screenshot here as a PDF for the required material.

I am paying my tuition out of pocket currently due to a SAP hold that is pending on my financial aid. It is due to my academic pace. I am trying to succeed, and have sought out this option and do not have the money currently as this was unexpected.
