I am currently managing multiple essential expenses, such as rent, utilities, and daily living costs, which limits my ability to allocate funds toward purchasing required textbooks. Additionally, unexpected financial obligations, like medical bills or car repairs, further constrain my budget, making it challenging to pay for the books out of pocket. These combined financial pressures prevent me from affording the materials necessary for my coursework.

I am a full time student and have a part time job . I don’t receive aid for textbooks because of my parents financial situation but their money is not mine and I have to pay for it myself.I have other expenses I need to pay for and I cannot afford to spend over 300 dollars in textbooks.

Dear Textbook Assistance Program Manager, I am writing to explain my financial situation. I am not working and do not have any source of income. I am also not eligible for FAFSA. As a result, I am unable to afford my required textbooks, which are essential for my coursework and academic success this Spring 2026 semester. I am fully committed to my studies and maintaining good academic standing. However, the cost of these materials is currently beyond my means. Any assistance toward purchasing my textbooks would be greatly appreciated. Such support would help relieve financial stress and allow me to focus on my education. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

This spring I am taking three classes, and I am currently in a difficult financial situation. Without financial aid for textbooks, the cost of required books is a major barrier for me. I would be very grateful for any help or consideration that may be available.

Having this TAP is crucial for my academic success because the high cost currently prevents me from obtaining it. As a student who works part-time to maintain my bills, this assistance will prevent me from falling behind and allow me to fully engage with the material, enabling me to continue my academic goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.
