In this 7-week program, you will learn how to use the machines, tools and other equipment necessary for employment in the manufacturing industry. You will meet prospective employers during training. Program eligibility includes a mandatory math and manufacturing aptitude test to be taken at CT State Capital.

Certifications You'll Receive:
- OSHA 10
This 10-hour training program is primarily intended for entry-level workers. All outreach training is intended to cover an overview of the hazards a worker may encounter on a job site. Training emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, not OSHA standards. - Six Sigma White Belt (6σ)
Six Sigma (6σ) is a set of techniques and tools for process improvement. Six Sigma strategies seek to improve manufacturing quality by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes. - Capital Manufacturing Program Certificate
Admission Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
- Must pass the mandatory math and manufacturing aptitude test.
