Fresh Ink, Naugatuck Valley's art and literature journal, publishes the selected literary and artistic works of students and community members. It is an annual publication with a review board of Naugatuck Valley faculty, alumni and students. The magazine publishes a call for literary contributions of poems, short stories and art to be submitted for board review prior to each annual edition. The award-winning journal has been recognized for outstanding student work by the Community College Humanities Association (CCHA).
Join the Fresh Ink Literary Magazine Club
The mission of the Fresh Ink Literary Magazine Club is to publish student art, poetry and short fiction in a literary journal sponsored by the Student Government Association and Naugatuck Valley's LABSS division. Every year, awards are given to the top students in each category, along with a banquet to recognize the students.
