CT State Tunxis Students,
On behalf of the college’s faculty, staff, and administration, it is my pleasure to welcome you to CT State Tunxis. I want to commend you for choosing our campus as the place to pursue your educational journey and investing in our community of accomplished faculty and staff.
Ongoing research has shown that a college degree leads to greater job opportunities and lifetime earnings. As a CT State student, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to achieve your academic and professional goals. Throughout your time here I encourage you to find your voice by getting involved, both inside and outside of the classroom. You can do this by joining one of our many student-led clubs and organizations, participating in the many unique events and special programming we host throughout the year, and utilizing many of the services and resources we offer, including the Food Pantry, U-Pass, academic advising, tutoring, and career services.
CT State Tunxis continues to engage and build strategic partnerships with elected officials, workforce and industry leaders, as well as public school administrators from across Connecticut; our institution remains focused on the critical needs of our students and employers from our service region, our state, and beyond.
All students are encouraged to stay in touch with their academic advisor and academic program coordinator throughout their time at the college.
Please note: All currently enrolled students visiting our main campus must enter through either the 100 or 700 Buildings. All currently enrolled students are required to have a student photo ID and must also scan their student photo ID at the security desks whenever accessing the main campus. If you do not have a student photo ID, please visit the Welcome Center/One Stop Enrollment Center located in the 100 Building.
We look forward to welcoming you to our main campus in Farmington and our satellite facility Tunxis@Bristol. In the meantime, I encourage you to review the CT State website to learn more about upcoming events and activities, critical tools that will help you to be successful while enrolled, as well as the policies in our CT State college catalog.
Wishing you a successful Fall semester!
Darryl Reome, Ed.D.
