CT State Celebrates Manufacturing Month with Statewide Events, Tours, and Career Activities

CT State Community College (CT State) will celebrate Manufacturing Month this October with a lineup of events and activities across Connecticut to highlight the role of manufacturing in the state’s economy, showcase CT State’s advanced manufacturing programs, and connect students with career pathways and industry partners.
“CT State is proud to play a vital role in preparing the next generation of skilled professionals in manufacturing,” said CT State Interim President Christina Royal, Ph.D. “During Manufacturing Month, we celebrate the innovation, talent, and partnerships that keep this sector strong—and we are grateful for support from the U.S. Department of Education and the state of Connecticut, which have helped us expand and modernize our Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centers at CT State Housatonic and Tunxis over the past couple of years. These investments ensure that students have access to the latest technology and training that lead to rewarding careers and a stronger Connecticut.”
