CT State Northwestern will offer Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) classes September 15 through December 2, 2025 through a hybrid instruction. The cost of the program is $1,999 and financial assistance may be available. Students must be at least sixteen years old: Entrance exams vary by campus and criminal background checks may be required.

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, CNAs provide basic care and assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing, feeding, and monitoring of health status. Students will be trained by a registered nurse in a state-of-the-art allied health skills lab, take lectures online, and practice their clinical skills in a longterm care setting.
