With the cannabis industry booming in Connecticut, you may be wondering how to get into this exciting new field. The Cannabis Industry Retail Certificate will give you the knowledge and skills you need to work in a retail environment selling cannabis products.

Retail sales play a critical role in the cannabis industry, and the need for people who can educate clients about the effects of cannabis while ensuring a good shopping experience and ultimately, a good experience with the products is crucial. You’ll develop the fundamental skills required to work as a professional in this growing industry, allowing you to quickly fill entry-level positions in the recreational cannabis retail environment. At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate of completion.

In This Course You’ll Learn To:

  • identify the various cannabis products and available delivery methods
  • analyze plant and human biology in relation to cannabis
  • examine quality customer service to increase sales
  • understand dosing and titration strategies
  • identify best practices for security and transportation

Admission Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment
