Are you an electrician wishing to enhance the number of licenses you hold? The Electrician License Renewal Training program is a four-hour non-credit course that will provide required training for the following license types: C5, C6, T1, T2, L5, L6, C7, C8, P1, P2.

Through comprehensive instruction and practical exercises, you’ll gain a deep understanding of relevant regulations and codes, preparing you for success in licensure examinations and future professional endeavors. Please note: You are required to bring the 2020 NEC Code Book and a calculator to each class session.

In This Course You’ll Learn To:

  • master the content of the 2020 NEC Code Book required for licensure in C5, C6, T1, T2, L5, L6, C7, C8, P1, and P2 categories
  • demonstrate proficiency in applying the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations to real-world scenarios
  • develop problem-solving skills necessary for interpreting and implementing code requirements in electrical installations
  • acquire the ability to use a calculator effectively in relation to electrical work and code compliance
  • prepare thoroughly for licensure examinations through comprehensive training aligned with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection's standards and regulations.

Admission Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed electrician

Students in our non-credit career programs are not eligible for federal financial aid or free college funding. However, there are alternative funding options available, such as WIOA, SNAP, and scholarships.
