If you work in food services, you will likely need to be certified in ServSafe. CT State offers two courses that will teach you the basics of food safety and sanitation and prepare you for taking the ServSafe Food Handler and Food Protection Manager certification exams.

ServSafe® Food Handler Training

This class will train you in the principles of food safety and sanitation and safe serves of alcoholic beverages in food service or hospitality work settings. Upon successful completion of this program, you will have the opportunity to take the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe Food Handler exam.
