Be a part of the make-it-here energy happening right now in Connecticut. Participate in Skill-up in Manufacturing at CT State Gateway or Middlesex campuses. This FREE non-credit program is available if you qualify for WIOA/SNAP and will prepare you for a career in entry-level manufacturing jobs. In less than six months, you’ll earn up to 250 hours (about 1 and a half weeks) in pre-apprenticeship hours and a cash stipend during training.
In This Course You’ll:
- earn Six Sigma certification
- earn OSHA 10 safety card
- receive job development support in a 5-week hybrid classroom & hands-on training course
Admission Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- GED or high school diploma
- Must be a CT resident
- Interested in entry-level manufacturing jobs
- Open to advancement and potential career growth in manufacturing
- Computer experience or mechanically inclined
- Proficient in basic math skills
