My family has limited income, and we struggle to cover basic living expenses.Because of this, I cannot afford to pay for my required textbooks out of pocket. Receiving textbook assistance would help me continue my studies.

I do not qualify for FAFSA funding. Right now I am not working and plan to start college and focus on my classes at first before I look for a job so I am unable to pay for my textbooks right now.

I am currently receiving the Mary Ann Handley Award which pays my tuition; however, books have been a struggle because my husband and I also have a daughter in CT Community college which requires books. We are finding we are over our head in bills vs income making it tough to come up with the additional funds. Any assistance would be a tremendous help. My home campus is Tunxis but my one course at Housatonic requires a $180 textbook. My two courses at Tunxis and Norwalk have textbooks that are much less costly, and I can cover on my own.

I do not qualify for financial aid through FAFSA. I fortunately received a scholarship for my tuition. I am currently unemployed and a single mom; my daughter is also enrolled in college.

My current financial situation is limited due to ongoing expenses such as rent, transportation, and basic necessities. After covering these essential costs, I do not have extra funds available to purchase the required textbooks.

I have recently been in a car accident and my parents are away because my grandma has passed away. So, finding myself in a lot of uncomfortable situations I am trying to help my family pay rent for these months, as well as work and go to school. I would appreciate any help I can get for textbooks, since the courses I have to take for upcoming Spring are more expensive than usual.

I’m currently out of work and unable to pay out of pocket for my required textbooks. Covering the full cost of these materials would place a significant financial strain on me as I’m already managing my personal expenses.
