College for Kids

Students will learn to care for children and babies and earn an American Red Cross babysitting certificate.  Working with mannequins, they will learn safety rules, diapering, feeding, appropriate toys, and communication with parents.  Students must attend ALL sessions in order to be certified.

Students must be 11-15 years old.

This class is designed for students who are interested in learning classical and folk Chinese dance. The class will emphasize footwork, hand styles, body postures and facial expressions. It will help in learning the Chinese language and culture through dancing. In addition, the dance class will include dance stretches and flexibility to help with dance movements.

This class is designed to increase muscle strength and flexibility. Through entire-body stretching, students can strongly enhance their range of motion and prepare themselves for dance classes. This class also includes dance performances at local libraries and museums.
