New Students
Welcome! Students must first apply and be admitted to CT State before meeting with an advisor. Prior to your meeting, please ensure placement documents and transcripts are on file with the Admissions office. This will ensure you receive the best advising experience. Without placement information and/or transfer credits in the system, the GP Advising team will be limited in how they can assist you.
Continuing Students
(Currently enrolled)
Continuing students are encouraged to connect with their Guided Pathways (GP) advisor to prepare for registration, and their faculty advisor or program coordinator to learn more about their degree path. To guarantee time with your advisor, please schedule an appointment. Advisors can meet with you in person, virtually, or over the phone. Same-day service is not guaranteed without an appointment.
Meet the Team and Schedule an Advising Session
Your GP advisor regularly reaches out to you through your student email with direct links to book an appointment on campus or virtually. To access your email account, log in to myCTState and look for “View/Access College Email.” If you cannot find any emails from your advisor, please reach out to the Guided Pathways Advising main office. If you'd like to reach out directly to your GP advisor, find your program listed beneath each advisor's name below.
To find your Guided Pathways (GP) advisor, you may see the list below or visit DegreeWorks by logging in to myCTState and selecting “Access Degree Works.” Your Guided Pathways Advisor will be listed at the top of the page. Hi! My name is Luke, and I am excited to work with you as you enter or continue in this exciting chapter of your life. As a first-generation college student, my knowledge and resources were limited to the things I knew, thought I knew, and my own experiences as I navigated through the complex world of higher education. It was advisors and great staff who allowed me to grow and develop into the person I am today. I strive to be an advocate for my students and show them the utmost respect, empowerment, and deliver learning opportunities for them to challenge themselves, the system, and make meaningful strides towards their academic and career goals. Professionally, I have worked in career development, workforce development, and employer relations working with top manufacturers, engineering firms, and technology-focused organizations. Whether you are looking to jump into the workforce or transfer to another institution, I am here to help you! I love finding the why and hope you do, too! If you have time, check out your strengths with this free strengths identification tool!

As a proud first-generation college student, I excelled because of the close-knit community and access to resources and support on campus. In turn, I am looking to be just that for the business students I will advise here at MxCC. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to work with students day-in and day-out to navigate their paths, engage in meaningful learning opportunities, and uncover their “why.” Connect with me below to begin our work together today!

Welcome to Middlesex Community College! My interest in higher education all started in my role as a resident advisor where I worked closely with first-year and first-generation students. Working with students 1:1 I began to understand the complex challenges that many college students face while obtaining their degree. These interactions had inspired me to pursue a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) with a specialization social work in educational settings. I share this because I want every student to feel that their educational narrative matters. Outside of advising and providing holistic case management, I spend a lot of my free time trying different cultural cuisines and traveling with my family and friends. FYI, if you are looking for a great vacation spot, I highly recommend visiting the United States Virgin Islands!

I look forward to helping you succeed at Middlesex Community College. One step into my office, you will notice I have two passions in life: My beautiful family and the Boston Red Sox. My wife and I share the love of our two daughters, Madison and Lillian. I understand not everyone loves baseball as much as I do. I promise not to hold it against you if you root for that other team. Good luck in your academic career here at Middlesex Community College. Let me know how I can help!
