We're thrilled you've joined our community. The Accepted Students webpage provides essential information and next steps to ensure a smooth and successful enrollment process. 
 
Here are some items to pay close attention to:  

• Apply and get accepted to CT State 
• Log in to your myCTState account
  Follow the myCTState login instructions if you need assistance 
• Apply for FAFSA or AACTUS 
  If you're applying for FAFSA, you must use federal school code 007635 on your  FAFSA.  
• Submit placement documents
  Before meeting with a GP advisor, ensure placement documents are on file with the Admissions office: SAT/ACT scores, AP scores and/or high school transcripts.  
• Upload SAT scores and high school transcripts to your application account
• Please ensure any college transcripts are on file if you would like to transfer in college credit

Please note: An advisor may not be assigned to you in Degree Works upon acceptance but will be once you have registered for the upcoming semester. You're welcome to select an advising appointment with an advisor that supports your intended program of study (major). 

As a continuing student, you're encouraged to connect with your assigned GP advisor to prepare for registration and/or your faculty advisor/program coordinator to learn more about your degree path. To guarantee time with your assigned advisor, please schedule an appointment. Advisors can meet with you in person, virtually or over the phone. Refer to your home campus for specific drop-in advising hours.  

Your advisor is listed on your Degree Works audit.  

• To meet with your Guided Pathways Advisor, find your home campus and make an appointment
• To meet with your Faculty Advisor, please use the email listed in Degree Works.

  Transfer and readmitted students should submit an official transcript from any other college(s) and universities attended and must be accepted or enrolled at CT State to complete a transcript evaluation. If you have any questions, please email CTState-TranscriptEval@ct.edu. 
  
• Submit placement documents
  Before meeting with a GP advisor, ensure placement documents are on file with the Admissions office: SAT/ACT scores, AP scores and/or high school transcripts.  
  
• Upload SAT scores and high school transcripts to your application account

• Unofficial transcripts can be used to verify prerequisites but if you are planning on transferring in credit, please request official transcripts to be evaluated. If you don't have an evaluated transcript(s) or an unofficial transcript to present to the advisor for your advising session, we may be limited in how we can assist you with advising and registration.
• *If you can't locate your advisor, contact your home campus Guided Pathways Advising office.

  If you are applying for FAFSA, you must use federal school code 007635 on your  FAFSA.
• Submit placement documents
  Before meeting with a GP advisor, ensure placement documents are on file with the Admissions office: SAT/ACT scores, AP scores and/or high school transcripts.

• Submit official college transcripts
  Transfer and readmitted students should submit an official transcript from any other college(s) and universities attended and must be accepted or enrolled at CT State to complete a transcript evaluation. If you have any questions, please email CTState-TranscriptEval@ct.edu. 
• Students who attended one of the original CT Community Colleges prior to fall 2023 need to request an official transcript from the legacy college (ex. Manchester Community College or Gateway Community College) through the Parchment Service.

Before registering for a course, visiting students must: 

• Apply and get accepted to CT State 

Please Note: 

• Unofficial copies of your college and/or high school transcript(s) from all your institutions previously attended will be needed to verify prerequisites and placement. You do not need to submit official transcripts to CT State to register for classes.  
• If you plan to transfer your credits to another college or university, you'll need to request an official transcript from CT State.
