Center for New Media students are able to borrow the latest state-of-the-art equipment for a truly hands-on experience. Equipment can be reserved for 108 hours, weekends included.

Monday:
10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.

Tuesday:
11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Wednesday:

Reserve Equipment

All Center for New Media students must become certified before using Reftab, our equipment reservation system, to check out equipment. 

Steps for Certification

1.

Watch the Camera Certification video in advance to familiarize yourself with the certification procedures.

2.

Pass the written certification test in order to perform the hands-on camera certification in front of one of our CNM staff.

3.

Register for a new Reftab account using your school email (eg: msmith0036@mail.ct.edu) and cellphone number.
