Connecticut State Community College Students Awarded Fall Scholarships by NASA CT Space Grant Consortium

Six students from Connecticut State Community College (CT State) have been awarded fall scholarships by the NASA CT Space Grant Consortium (CTSGC) in recognition of their academic excellence and career aspirations in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
Each student will receive a $1,500 scholarship for tuition at their respective CT State campuses. To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time at a NASA CTSGC academic affiliate institution, pursue a STEM major, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate strong academic and career goals and extracurricular involvement.
The following students have been selected as NASA CTSGC Community College Scholarship recipients, listed with their town of residence and home campus:
• Branyelis Brito Polanco (West Haven)- CT State Community College Gateway
• Arden Chiucarello (Rocky Hill)- CT State Community College Manchester
• Kevin Concepcion (Waterbury)- CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley
• Christine Gonzalez (Waterbury)- CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley
• Isabella Molina (Oakville)- CT State Community College Naugatuck Valley
• Solana Ourn (Newington)- CT State Community College Capital
NASA CT Space Grant Consortium is a federally mandated grant, internship and scholarship program that is funded as part of NASA Education to encourage broader participation in NASA research programs.
