CT State Northwestern will offer Sterile Processing classes August 29 through December 15, 2025 through an online platform with an lab option scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Joyner Health Science Center, room 210. The cost of the program is $1,999 and financial assistance may be available. Students must be at least eighteen years old and have a high school diploma or GED.

Central Sterile Processing Technicians (CSPT) are responsible for packaging surgical instruments in hospitals, medical offices, surgical centers, and clinics. CSPTs are highly needed healthcare professionals who improve the quality of patient care by minimizing infection rates.
