Northwestern aspires to cultivate in its students the ability to understand the complex modern world - both locally and globally - and the leadership skills to be full and active participants in society. Located in the heart of Winsted, in a burgeoning arts district, Northwestern offers more than 70 programs of study, taking pride in helping young adults who are attending college for the first time to successfully navigate the college experience, as well as aiding students of any age to achieve their educational and career goals – whether for entry into a career, to transfer to a baccalaureate institution or for lifelong learning.
