Meet the Team and Schedule an Advising Session

All new and current CT State students are assigned to a Guided Pathways (GP) advisor. You can book an appointment with your assigned advisor by clicking on their name below. We offer in-person and virtual appointments during regular business hours.

Check the online booking calendar for the most up-to-date schedule.

New students must first apply and be admitted to CT State before meeting with an advisor. Prior to your meeting, please ensure placement documents and transcripts are on file with the Admissions Office. This will ensure you receive the best advising experience. Without placement information and/or transfer credits in the system, the GP Advising team will be limited in how they can assist you.

Continuing students are encouraged to connect with your Guided Pathways (GP) advisor to prepare for registration, and your faculty advisor or program coordinator to learn more about their degree path each semester. You can view/contact your assigned academic advisor by finding them below or through your MyCTState account (select “Access Degree Works” and your advisor will be listed at the top of the page). You can view advisor office hour information and schedule advising appointments. If you cannot locate your advisor, contact the Guided Pathways Advising Office. While you are assigned an advisor, you are welcome to meet with any advisor in the center. To guarantee time with your advisor, please schedule an appointment. Advisors can meet with you in-person, virtually, or over the phone. Same day service is not guaranteed without an appointment.
