New Student
I've never attended another college or university after receiving my high school diploma.

Welcome! Students must first apply and be admitted to CT State before meeting with an advisor. Prior to your meeting, please ensure placement documents and transcripts are on file with the Admissions office. This will ensure you receive the best advising experience. Without placement information and/or transfer credits in the system, the GP Advising team will be limited in how they can assist you.

Once you’ve received your acceptance email from Admissions, you’re ready to make your New Student Enrollment appointment. Here you'll learn more about myCTState and register for your first semester classes.

Tip: It’s best to set up your myCTState account prior to your appointment. Our priority is to ensure a smooth transition into college.

Questions? Please email  or call 860-773-1510 and we’ll be happy to assist you!

You can sign in to complete the New Student Online Orientation twenty-four hours after being admitted to the college.
