Student Clubs

The Art Club engages in the full spectrum of art-related activities and strives to encourage expression in all forms. Experienced and new artists are welcome.

The CT State Manchester Arts Club seeks to form a group of people from various artistic disciplines including those of visual, music, theater, literature, performance, ceramics, etc. that can share their work and promote the arts throughout the community. This will be achieved by holding weekly club meetings, monthly events and various other activities.

The Bible Club welcomes any students who embrace the Christian faith, subscribe to its doctrine, and accept as truth its religious tenets and teachings.

The BSA fosters a space where close relationships with students of African American and Caribbean descent can be made. BSA coordinates cultural, educational and social events throughout the year. Anyone is welcome to join.

The Black Student Union promotes black awareness, ensuring the academic progress of black students on campus. It acts as a network for students and informs black students about scholarships and college transfer information.

Black Student Union (BSU) is an organization dedicated to celebrating and acknowledging black culture through cultural celebrations, meaningful discussions, guest speakers, social activities, dance performances, and more. This inclusive organization aims to create an environment where all students feel welcome. Beyond celebrating culture, BSU also encourages professional growth and inspires students to become future leaders across diverse fields. BSU is also committed to making a positive impact in the community by partnering with local organizations.

The purpose of the BSU is to promote unity and harmony among students of color with all other students, staff, faculty, administration and the greater community. The BSU seeks to enhance cultural diversity among students, and organizes social and educational activities.

The Middlesex Business Club is open to any student interested in learning about business.

The Northwestern Business Club promotes organizational leadership to students looking to master professional life-long learning attributes and further the building of an environment of collaboration, teamwork and collegiality. Students in this club encourage an environment that promotes the development of skills in communication, leadership and networking.

The Tunxis Business Club provides activities for its members to gain experience and knowledge in business, promote communication and networking among students, faculty, staff, alumni and local business leaders, improve the community and educate the campus community on various business topics.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) provides an exciting and well-rounded activities program for students on the Asnuntuck campus in conjunction with the Office of Student Activities. The main functions of the CAB are to plan, promote and implement diverse, student-sponsored programs that serve the best interests of the Asnuntuck campus student body and co-sponsor activities with SGA, clubs and/or the college.

CT State Capital’s Book Club's main purpose is to bring people together through literature. The Club will meet to discuss the book that’s been chosen by members of the club. The club will also have non-mandatory meetings to discuss surrounding communities via books. Capital Book Club’s ultimate goal is to enjoy and explore literature through various genres and cultures.
