Student Clubs

The Action for Animals Club informs CT State Naugatuck Valley students about what is happening to animals and encourages protecting animal rights through positive activism.

Alpha Beta Gamma is an international business honor society established in 1970 to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students in business and related curricula at degree-granting academic institutions. To achieve this goal, ABG provides leadership opportunities, forums for the exchange of ideas and the stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Since its founding, over 65,000 business honor students from accredited community, junior, and technical colleges have been initiated into the society.

The Anime Club is for students who enjoy anime to get together and watch and talk about the world of Anime. The club introduces new genres and plans events on and off campus.

The mission of the Art Club is to find our inner artists, express ourselves and grow as both individuals and as members of the community. Through creative collaboration and communication, we hope to successfully inspire each other and enhance our artistic knowledge and learning abilities.

The BSU promotes black awareness, ensures the academic progress of Black students on campus, acts as a network for students and informs Black students about scholarships and college transfer information.

The Creative Writing Club fosters the development of creative writing through constructive criticism. Students will foster this discussion during meetings on campus.

The Digital Arts Technology Club allows interested students to gather, represent the department and develop skills in the digital arts. The club is the hub for digital media work for various departments at CT State Naugatuck Valley and the local community.

The mission of the club is to play Dungeons and Dragons, facing fictional challenges with teamwork, strategy and roleplay. This club engages students and creates a network of players who can meet to play at various times on and off campus.

The Early Childhood Education Club at Naugatuck Valley offers opportunities for professional development to ECE students through dialogue, service learning, workshops and field trips in order to develop professional attitudes and broaden experiences within the field of early childhood education.

Fit 'n Fun Club works as a campus community towards improving student health and well-being. We look to make movement a part of the daily campus culture by helping to provide students the tools necessary to strengthen healthy physical activity habits that can last a lifetime.

The mission of the Fresh Ink Literary magazine is to publish student art, poetry and short fiction in a literary journal sponsored by the Student Government Association and Naugatuck Valley's LABSS division. Every year, awards are given to the top students in each category, along with a banquet to recognize the students.

The Hispanic Student Union promotes educational and cultural awareness and appreciation of the Hispanic culture and develops leadership that is responsive to our college and community needs. We encourage diverse membership from all ethnicities and provide opportunities for all students (Hispanic and non-Hispanic) to enhance student participation on campus in efforts to strengthen diversity. Our activities will serve to educate our campus community about our rich culture as we celebrate it.

The Human Services Club at CT State Naugatuck Valley provides a dynamic and interactive environment for members to enhance their education about social services and client needs in the ever-changing community and service delivery system. The club focuses on providing services through volunteer activities in the community and makes donations of needed items to community agencies and groups.

The mission of this club is to empower enthusiasts to explore the multiverse. Our MTG Trading Cards Club fosters a vibrant community of spellcasters and strategists. We're dedicated to promoting camaraderie, strategic gameplay and the pursuit of rare treasures in the realm of Magic: The Gathering. Join us as we embark on a journey through the planes, where every card tells a story and every duel is an epic adventure.
