Naugatuck Valley offers quality, affordable education and training in response to evolving community needs by providing opportunities to individuals and organizations to develop their potential. With locations in both Waterbury and Danbury, Naugatuck Valley offers more than 100 degree and certificate programs, with dedicated faculty and staff, and a vibrant campus community ready to support students throughout their educational journeys. Collaboration within and outside the campus community is the basis for the rich intellectual, educational, cultural and civic-minded experiences for students.

Campus Hours

Normal college operating hours of the Naugatuck Valley campuses are: 

Waterbury 

  • Monday-Friday: 6 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7 a.m.-6 p.m.
  • Sunday: 7 a.m.-5 p.m. (closing time may be earlier depending on course/event schedule)

Administrative offices are available Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Danbury

  • Monday and Wednesday: 8 a.m.-9 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 8 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Waterbury Campus

750 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708

Our beautiful 110-acre Waterbury campus is just minutes from Exit 18 off of I-84. Come enjoy our extensive Student Center and Fine Arts Center (with two theaters; art, music and dance studios; multi-media labs and rehearsal rooms), Learning Resource Center, Academic Center for Excellence (tutoring center), observatory, game room and so much more. Our Technology Hall features the latest classroom technology, advanced laboratories, a freestanding greenhouse and state-of-the-art facilities for our engineering, manufacturing, automotive and hospitality programs. 

Founders Hall, which was newly renovated in 2019, is home to our Center for Health Sciences where you can train in our modern classrooms and progressive health care simulation labs.

Naugatuck Valley is known for its extensive campus grounds that includes the Tamarack Arboretum, numerous gardens, a hiking trail, and a scenic pond to enjoy.

Danbury Campus

Naugatuck Valley's Danbury campus is a 20,000-square-foot location at 190 Main Street in Danbury. Join the thousands of students who have found a close, affordable college degree that can be easily transferred to four-year institutions. Conveniently located in Danbury's vibrant downtown, our campus features:

  • Spacious classrooms, student lounge, on-site library and multipurpose room
  • Expanded academic advising and financial aid
  • Computer labs, health care training lab, science lab and prep room
  • Tutoring center and placement testing
  • Non-Credit Lifelong Learning courses
  • Credit students receive a free NVRides transit bus pass and parking permit to Patriot Garage.
  • The campus is easy to reach and is within walking distance of local bus routes, the train station, the Danbury Public Library, restaurants and other amenities.

Naugatuck Valley Danbury students learn among a diverse group of more than 1,000 peers, including recent high school graduates and working adults.
