Joining a club on your campus can be a great way to get involved during your time as a student. You'll be able to develop your interests outside of the classroom, meet new friends and maybe even learn something new!

Habitat Club (Habitat for Humanity)
The purpose of this organization is to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.

Handmade Creations Club
The purpose of the Handmade Creations Club is to provide a platform for creative expression and bring together everyone who has a passion for making arts and crafts. The club hosts a workshop every Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. on diverse topics, including metal stamping, mug decoration, scrapbooking, crocheting, painting, origami and more. Through these workshops, students explore new techniques and technology while developing new skills for handmade arts and crafts. The club gives students an opportunity to expand their network and share their ideas with one another.

Healthy Minds Club
Healthy Minds promotes mental wellness strategies and works to reduce the stigma associated with common mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We help provide students with open communication and encourage everyone to share their thoughts and ideas. In the past, we've had engaging workshops and student panels, game nights, weekly discussions, art activities and lots of other exciting mental health events. Join us in removing the stigma surrounding mental health while building meaningful connections within your college community.
Students interested in mental health awareness and reducing the stigma associated with psychological disorders are encouraged to become members of the Healthy Minds Club or attend weekly discussions sponsored by the club. The Club meets on Wednesdays, 2:20-3:20 p.m. in Room 6-179.

Human Services Club
The Human Services Club seeks to provide services for students on the Tunxis campus ranging from mental health resources, educational talks and events and free tampons and pads we have distributed around campus. The club focuses on making our campus a safer and more welcoming place for students through our countless hours of discussion and volunteer work. The members of the club are all very involved in weekly activities and most of them attend the weekly meeting, though this is not strictly enforced.

Did you know? CT State Manchester has its very own radio station right here on campus! Listen to your favorite tunes, catch up on current events and listen to the radio shows of CT State Manchester students, faculty and staff.
Everyone has a voice! 1620AM–ICE Radio, Manchester’s campus radio station, wants to hear yours! Students from all backgrounds and majors join every fall and spring semester for weekly meetings and recording sessions to discuss and plan original shows and podcast ideas, fun on-air contests and promotions and community service opportunities.
Students and faculty/staff learn to produce their own shows and podcasts to broadcast a wide variety of timely topics and personal passions, including favorite music/artists, sports, movies, how to succeed in college, current events/politics, concert reviews, and opportunities in media!
