Register

First, visit our Workforce Development/Continuing Education (WDCE) page to select your courses. Then register using one of these options:

1. Register Online

Register Now

You may complete the course registration form online. After the online registration is processed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for online, phone-in, in-person or mail payment. Payment is due immediately upon receipt of registration-confirmation email.

2. In-Person

Find Your Campus Office

You may visit your local Workforce Development and Continuing Education office to complete your registration in person. Find your campus office for days and hours of operation.

Refund Policy

A student who withdraws by the last business day before the first class meeting of the course(s) is entitled to a full refund of all extension [account] fees. A request for withdrawal must be received by the president or his or her designee no later than the end of the last regular business day of the college before the first meeting of the course(s).

Cancellation and Course Change Policy

The college reserves the right to limit the number of students registered in any course, to cancel any courses for which there is insufficient enrollment, and to make changes in the schedule as circumstances require. Course cancellations will be announced before the first day of class.

Please Note: The information on this page refers only to Workforce Development courses. If you're looking for information about paying for credit courses, please click here.

Students who enroll in our non-credit career programs are not eligible for federal financial aid or free college funding. These programs are designed to provide practical skills and training for career advancement but do not qualify for traditional financial assistance such as Pell Grants or state-funded tuition programs.

However, depending on the program, there may be several different funding options available to help cover or offset the cost of your education. Learn more by choosing your campus below. Please contact the Workforce Development/Continuing Education office at the campus you'll be attending for further information.

    American Job Center
    Students who are unemployed or underemployed can qualify for training funds available through the American Job Center (AJC). The Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE) division offers a range of short-term licensure and certificate training programs and courses tailored to meet the needs of Connecticut residents and businesses. These programs, known for their high quality, cater to individuals re-entering the workforce or aiming to acquire new technical skills to advance their careers. 

Furthermore, we collaborate with numerous companies and government agencies to deliver customized training programs tailored to the specific needs of their employees. These classes can be conducted onsite, online or at campus locations across Connecticut, ensuring accessibility and flexibility.

Our Students

Business and Industry Services

Our Business and Industry Services department provides entrepreneurial business development and training and is part of the statewide Business and Industry Services Network (BISN). We provide client companies with a variety of services which include customized training, business consultation services, data gathering and referral, plus seminars and workshops.

The Business and Industry Services department cultivates and actively works to build long-term partnerships with local chambers of commerce, business and industry clients, other state agencies and 501©3 organizations.
